This healthy chocolate spread is yummy, versatile, quick to make, and contains only 6 ingredients, plus it's a good source of protein and omega-3's.

You can spread it on toast, a sandwich, or a wrap, add it to smoothies or oatmeal, use it as a frosting for cakes, mix it with yogurt, swirl it into banana-based ice cream or plant-based froyo, or use it as a dip for sliced apple.

 ½ cup sunflower seed butter
 ½ cup unsweetened plain oat milk
 2 tbsp cacao powder
 2 tbsp ground flax
 1 tbsp maple syrup
 ½ tsp vanilla extract

Add all of the ingredients to a bowl, and mix until thoroughly combined.

Add more milk if needed to reach desired consistency, and add more maple syrup to taste if necessary.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Feel free to use a different type of seed or nut butter.
