Boost your immune system and cleanse your body with this vibrant and refreshing three ingredient juice.

The main ingredient in this juice, carrots are rich in antioxidants and boast high amounts of beta-carotene which the body converts a percentage of into retinol, an active form of vitamin A. Vitamin A boosts the immune system, protects eye health, and supports healthy growth and reproduction.

Cilantro and limes are also beneficial for health, as they both contain antioxidant compounds that help detoxify the body and boost immune function.

 4 medium carrots
 1 cup fresh cilantrowith stems, loosely packed
 ½ lime, peeled

Wash all of the ingredients, and roughly chop the carrots.

Juice about half of the carrots, then the cilantro and lime, and finish juicing the remaining carrots.

Pour into a glass, and drink immediately after juicing for optimal benefits.

For additional immune-boosting benefits and a kick of flavor, you can juice 1 inch of fresh ginger when juicing the cilantro and lime.

If you don't have a juicer, you can use a blender to blend the ingredients and then use a cheesecloth to squeeze out the juice.
