Ginger and lemon both offer a wealth of health benefits, including their shared antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and immune boosting properties. Because of these properties, they make a wonderful tea to sip on while you have a cold, or in an effort to prevent catching one.

 1 ½ cups boiling water
 ½ lemon, juiced
 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated or sliced)
 1 tsp sweetener of choice (optional)

Put the ginger into a mug, and pour in the water.

Allow to steep for 10 minutes.

Stir in the lemon juice, as-well-as the sweetener if desired.

Add a slice of lemon, and enjoy!
